The Enterprise Collective’s mission is to advance creative and cultural collaboration and support community building, life-long learning and commerce within Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn and beyond.
The Enterprise Collective has participated in collaborative yearly events such as the Bed Stuy Art Walk, Make Music New York, and presented community oriented pop-ups, art sales, live music, film screenings , theatrical performances and art making events in a safe space for multi-cultural and inter-generational enrichment and enjoyment.
2023-24 Community Participatory Project
The Enterprise Collective’s Digital Futures is a Virtual Project that includes the use of personal technology devices (cell phones, tablets) to create mobile visual stories, exhibits, documentaries and more via the use of MEMBIT AR (Augmented Reality) and other apps, software, and related online platforms. Recordings should be less than 5 minutes.
To encourage participation, the project includes prompts to assist in the creative development process . Virtual meet ups will provide additional technical and conceptual support.
Places, tangible items. experiences, images, sounds text etc. can generate stories, exhibits and documentation. For example, augmented digital street mapping, along with photos/images and sound/narrative can help tell the story of a business district from a bygone era in honor of a place and time.
